MY STORY
My photography journey began at age four, when I was gifted my first camera: a pink, point-and-shoot Canon. I was always sure to pack it for my trips to Grandma and Grandpa's house and consistently carried it along side me when it was time to play outside. I grew up in a house where my dad's photography could be found hanging on walls in every room. It was largely devoted to his time spent in Vietnam, Thailand, and Australia, but you could often find intimate photos of family members placed on side tables and countertops.
While I may have been inspired at a young age, my passion grew brightest after my dad's death. I quickly found myself taking his old camera with me to photograph my friends and film family trips up north. In the past few years, I've had experience with portraits, business headshots, event photography, and videography, but I've worked mostly with senior portraits.
I've always loved connecting with others and hearing their stories – this is the perfect outlet for that! I hope to develop my creative skills in the coming years. I am currently earning my BA in Art and Design at the University of Michigan STAMPS School.
